Green lentils are a softer and milder style of lentil. A good source of Protein and an excellent source of Dietary Fibre. Larger in size than our other lentils, they take a bit longer to cook (15-20 minutes) and have a softer finish which absorbs the flavours within the dish well.
Green Lentils are ideal for vegetarian and vegan meals. They are pulses. Not nuts. Our pulses are dairy free, no preservatives, no additives, no added sugar, and are not genetically modified.
Great for soups casseroles, slow cookers, curries or even baking. You can soak before cooking and they will be ready in just 10 minutes. Or pop them straight in, after rinsing and they will be ready in 25 minutes.
